One arrested in Operation Devil Hunt, 8 others on various charges in Rajshahi

A total of eight individuals have been arrested in Rajshahi Metropolitan City as part of joint force operations, including one under Operation Devil Hunt and seven others in separate drives by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and the Detective Branch (DB) on Thursday.
As part of nationwide efforts to prevent instability, Operation Devil Hunt was conducted in Rajshahi. Over the past 24 hours, authorities apprehended one individual on charges related to an attack on an anti-discrimination student movement, explosions, terrorist activities, and other offenses. Additionally, RMP’s operation led to the arrest of seven individuals, including two with existing warrants and five for other crimes.
The arrested suspect under Operation Devil Hunt has been identified as Mohammad Noyon Islam Shakti (32), an Awami League activist from Bosepara, under Boalia Model Police Station. He is the son of the late Abdul Mannan.
Legal action has been taken against all detainees.
