The Bangladesh Nationalist Road Transport Workers' Party formed its Arshinagar Union Committee and a discussion meeting was held on the occasion on Friday.

The meeting was attended by local workers including the leaders of the organization.

Hasan Shah Patvej Bepari, President of the Road Transport Workers' Party Sakhipur Thana Branch, was present as the chief guest, who delivered an important speech on the rights of the workers and the future plans of the organization. Also present as special guests were Nurul Islam Didar, General Secretary, Road Transport Workers' Party Sakhipur Thana Branch, Mofizur Rahman Sabuj Majhi, Organizing Secretary, Road Transport Workers' Party, Sakhipur Thana Branch, Monir Hossain Molla, Shah Alam Bepari.

The event was presided over by Md. Khokon Bepari, Senior Joint Secretary, Road Transport Workers' Party Sakhipur Thana Branch.

Shahjalal Malat, Deputy Office Secretary, Sakhipur Police Station Branch, moderated the discussion.

Also present at the discussion meeting were Md. Faruk Mollah, Dulal Dewan, Mohammad Ali Dewan, Delwar Hossain Mridha, Shahidullah Munshi, Ismail Hossain Tanisa, Ajmeri Akhter, Md. Moti Bepari, Shafiq Majhi, Md. Sujan Munshi, Humayun Kabir Choyal, Rubel Sheikh, Zahid Tapdar, Nazrul Islam Pradhaniya.

The new committee of the organization was announced in the meeting, where Abbas Dewan was elected as the president, Billal Kabiraj as the general secretary, and Zahir Dewan as the organizing secretary. The new committee pledged to work to protect the interests of the workers, realize their rights, and further strengthen the organization.

At the discussion meeting, the speakers exchanged views on various important issues including various problems of the workers, salary structure, and ensuring safe roads. They called for maintaining the unity of the organization and working to establish the rights of all workers.

At the end of the ceremony, the newly elected leaders were congratulated with flowers and the organization's future work plan was discussed.
