Any  accident may happen in Karllachar Bridge  on the south side of Karllachari Bazar in Langadu upazila. 

It is learned that for the benefit of the people, two more bridges, including the Kallachari It, were constructed to build communication on the roads of the union of the upazila headquarters in the beginning of the last six decades under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).

After the construction, the bridge has now become a trap due to lack of supervision of the authorities. The two sides of the railing were broken. The concrete welding of the concrete has gone from the jute. At present, the condition of the bridge is very fragile.

According to the findings, the second largest market of the upazila, Karllachari, came here to take the goods from different areas of the country including Chittagong. Thousands of people, including hundreds of freight, passenger vehicles, are the sole resorts of the people every day with this public bridge. There are various public-private organizations in the areas. The bridge is the only reliance on the army camp, Ansar camp, including school hospitals, and all emergency work.  At any time, a major accident like casualties can happen when the bridge is broken. Locals have been moving over it for several years.

Locals said, “We have been protesting for the bridge of Karllachari Bazar for a long time. I have repeatedly urged the government organization LGED authorities. Because the government built the bridge through them. But they have no address. '

Karllachari Bazar President Md. Samsuddin said that the son of Chaghari was taken to Khagrachari Hospital a few days ago after being seriously injured from the bridge. Thus, people have to move people with the risk of life every day. Also, Karllachari is a greater market, and the freight is operating here daily. I do not know how many people have to give life to the accident at any time, so I demand the authority of the authorities to renovate the bridge in a short time. 

Meanwhile, Ajay Mitra Chakma, chairman of the Atakchara union, said, “How much more will we do? No one is fulfilling our claim. '

"We have repeatedly urged the LGED upazila authorities to do something about the bridge. But they have visited only a few times in the name." Authorities are not seen to be zealous.

LGED Upazila Engineer Md Shamsu Alam said that we have sent proposals for Karlachari Bazar and Jamtala-Battala Bridge. If you want an estimate, we will send it.
