Jamaat Nayeb-e-Ameer Prof Mujibur Rahman in Lalmonihart: First justice, second reform, then election

Md. Lavlu Sheikh, Lalmonirhat

A two-day member (Rukon) training camp was organized on  Thrusday and Friday at Al-Arafa Milonayoton in Lalmonirhat by the Lalmonirhat District Branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.

The event was graced by the presence of the Central Nayeb-e-Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Professor Mujibur Rahman, as the chief guest.

He said, “We seek justice, and justice is not possible without the law of Allah.” He further stated, “Islam is a complete code of life, and without implementing it on a state level, it is not possible to fully practice Islam.” He also said that to purify society, it is imperative to eliminate all forms of corruption, interest, bribery, obscenity, shamelessness, extortion, and all haram through the establishment of Quranic governance at the state level.

Regarding the election, he remarked that in 2014, the Awami fascist government cast their own votes in the name of an election and also cast votes on behalf of others. In 2018, they cast the votes at night that were supposed to be cast during the day. In 2024, they came to power again through a dummy election. He further said, “We want first justice, then reform, then election.” He made these remarks in his speech as the chief guest.

Addressing the members (Rukon), he said, “Along with success in this world, we must work for success in the Hereafter, because ultimate success lies in the Hereafter.”

The meeting was presided over by the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Lalmonirhat District, Advocate Abu Taher.

Special guests included Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami's Assistant Secretary General Maulana Abul Hasnat Muhammad Abdul Halim. Also present were Central Working Committee member Maulana Momtaz Uddin and Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Rangpur region team member Professor Azizur Rahman Sarkar, former district Ameer Assistant Professor Ataur Rahman, District Nayeb-e-Ameer Maulana Habibur Rahman, District Secretary Advocate Firoz Haider Lavlu, probable MP candidate for Lalmonirhat-2 (Aditmari-Kaliganj) Md.
