Infiltrator caught, Bangladeshi kidnapped in Lalmonirhat

In Lalmonirhat, a man from India (Amimul Islam) illegally crossed into Bangladesh and was caught by locals. They handed him over to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). About an hour later, a group of Indians crossed the border and took a Bangladeshi young man (Sirajul Haque) away.
Later that night, both sides met at a flag meeting. BGB gave Amimul back to India, and India returned Sirajul to Bangladesh.
The incident caused tension in the border area again. Locals say this has happened before and are asking for stronger border security.
