Under the Humanitarian Assistance Programme for the fiscal year 2025–26, the Muksudpur Upazila Administration, in collaboration with the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, distributed free dry food among 200 ultra-poor families affected by natural disasters.
The distribution event took place on Thursday,
Muksudpur UNO Tasnim Akter personally handed over the food packages to the beneficiaries. Each package contained approximately 15 kilograms of dry food items, with an estimated market value of BDT 2,500.
Also present at the event were Muksudpur Upazila Project Implementation Officer Abdul Jabbar and Muksudpur Press Club President Md. Shiru Mia.
This initiative was undertaken to support disaster-affected individuals and ensure food security for the most vulnerable members of the community.
