Faridpur Zilla School Alumni Assoc forms new central executive committee

The central executive committee and advisory council of the Faridpur Zilla School Alumni Association for the 2026–2028 term have been officially announced.
The committees were revealed on Thursday night during a modest ceremony at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka.
The announcement was formally made on Saturday morning (August 15) through a press release signed by Rajibul Hasan Khan, the newly appointed Publicity and Public Relations Secretary of the central executive committee.
The newly formed central executive committee consists of 31 members, while the advisory council comprises 17 members.
Mirza Md. Arifur Rahman and Md. Wahid Mia Kuti have been elected as President and Secretary General respectively for the 2026–2028 term.
Other office-bearers of the executive committee include Vice-Presidents Md. Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Nobikul Islam Khandaker, and A F M Anwar Hossain Khan; Joint Secretary Generals Kazi Main Uddin and Md. Nazmul Haque; Treasurer Mehedi Hasan Chowdhury; Organizing Secretary Golam Mostoba Tanu; Publication and Library Secretary Mu. Saiful Haque Shafin; Employment and Human Resources Development Secretary Md. Nurul Islam; International Affairs Secretary Khondakar Shoeb Wallace; Publicity and Public Relations Secretary Rajibul Hasan Khan; Educational Development Secretary Monowar Sikdar; Cultural Secretary Chinmoy Kar; Information Technology Secretary Naimul Haque Joarder; Legal Affairs Secretary Syed Sohel Reza; Health Assistance Secretary Nasir Ahmed; Office Secretary Hasan Mohammad Titu; Social Welfare Secretary Md. Niamat Ullah; Hospitality Secretary Monowar Hossain; and Sports Secretary Benzir Ahmed Tabrej.
The executive members are Prabir Kanti Bala, Md. Moniruzzaman, Nasirul Islam, A K M Fazlul Huq, Md. Anisuzzaman Rana, Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Md. Masudur Rahman, S M Istiab, and Md. Mashrur Rahman.
Meanwhile, the 17-member advisory council includes Mir Nasir Hossain, Md. Shahidul Hasan, Kazi Din Mohammad, Kazi Nurul Karim Dilu, Abdut Tawab, Abu Sayer, A K M Arifur Rahman Lichu, Md. Mostafizur Rahman Shamim, Awlad Hossain Babar, M Idris Ali, Shamsul Alam Babu, Mizanur Rahman, Zafar Ahmed Siddiqui Milon, Jahangir Chowdhury Titu, Shamsul Alam Tuku, Md. Jahangir Mia, and Afzal Hossain Khan Palash.
Leaders of the newly formed committee expressed optimism that the association will further strengthen mutual communication and harmony among former students of Faridpur Zilla School while accelerating the organization's overall activities.
