Ekushey Book Fair begins in Khulna

The Ekushey Book Fair has began on Saturday and it will continue until February 28 to commemorate the language martyrs.
The fair will be open for the general public every day from 8am to 9pm.
However, the fair will be open from morning to night. This time the magnitude of the fair has increased.
A total of 90 stalls will sit. Besides the book stalls the rest of the stalls will have cottage and hand industry stalls, said Hamidur Rahman, deputy director of the Member Secretary of the Fair Steering Committee. The stall making work has already been completed.
This is the first permanent author Kunj for the coming writers. Which is made very beautifully. There is a huge stage for performance different types of cultural organisations.This is the first stall allotted through lottery.
They have expressed their opinion that most stall owners are happy because of the allocation through the lottery.
Divisional Commissioner Md. Firoz Sarkar inaugurated the faur as the chief guest, Police Commissioner Md. Zulfiqar Ali Haider and BL College Principal Prof. Md. Humayun Kabr were the special guests.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Saiful Islam presided over the meeting.
