Educational scholarships distributed to meritorious students in Dinajpur

ECO financial assistance cheques have been distributed to 102 poor and meritorious students in Dinajpur on Monday.
The chief guest, UNO Md. Borhan Uddin, presented the check for this assistance to the students at the Dinajpur Press Club auditorium.
At that time, he said, he expressed optimism that this financial grant to students would benefit poor and talented students a lot.
He also said, "Those of you who receive this scholarship today, in later life, you will have to repay this debt by helping others."
Md. Hamidur Rahman Sohel, Lecturer in the Management Department of Dinajpur Government College, Sadar Upazila Project Officer were present as special guests at the event Md. Ferdous Ahmed, General Secretary of Dinajpur Press Club Golam Nabi Dulal.
The event was attended by 13 educational institutions including Dinajpur Medical College, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Bogra, Begum Rokeya University, Haji Mohammad Danesh University of Science and Technology, Rajshahi University.
Checks worth 14 lakh 6 thousand taka were distributed among 102 students of the institution. The program was implemented by the non-governmental development organization Aman.
