DU champions in Inter-university Judo ( Female student) Competition

Dhaka University emerged as the champion and Jagannath University as the runners-up in the inter-university judo (student-female) competition. The day-long competition was held at the central playground of Dhaka University on Wednesday with the slogan "Friendship in the University Playground".
In the judo competition, Dhaka University won 04 gold, 04 silver and 03 bronze medals in the student group. Jagannath University won 01 gold, 01 silver and 3 bronze medals.
In the female group, Dhaka University won 02 gold, 04 silver and 02 bronze medals. Jagannath University won 01 gold, 01 silver and 01 bronze medal.
After the competition, Dhaka University Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani was present as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Dhaka University Judo Committee President Professor Dr. Upma Kabir. Earlier in the morning, Physical Education Center Advisor Professor Dr. SM Mostafa Al Mamun inaugurated the competition. At that time, Dhaka University Judo Team Manager Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Physical Education Center Acting Director SM Zakaria and Judo and Karate In-charge Nayna Chowdhury, along with teachers and students, were present.
