As love takes center stage this Valentine's Day, Bongo, the premier OTT platform, is set to sweep audiences off their feet with an enchanting cinematic experience. Introducing "Love Stories- Bhalobashar Dine Bhalobashar Golpo," a dazzling collection of four short films based on the cherished tales penned by the esteemed writer Bishwajit Chowdhury in his book, "Sholpo Doirgho Premer Golpo."

Among these spellbinding stories is "Dukkhito," a heartwarming narrative that will be brought to life under the masterful direction of the acclaimed filmmaker Kajal Arefin Ome. The recent signing ceremony at the Bongo office marked the official commencement of this cinematic journey into the realms of love and emotion.

Director Ome, a maestro in storytelling, shared his enthusiasm, stating, "Dukkhito is a very sweet story. I loved the narrative when I first read it, and I believe the audience will too. A good deed can be gifted to everyone!"

The stellar cast of "Dukkhito" includes popular actors Ziaul Haque Polash and Parsa Evana, ensuring a mesmerizing portrayal of the main characters. Director Ome teased the audience on Facebook, revealing the characters' names and promising a fresh and captivating love story.

"Start with Kabila and Eva, then Sami/Faria, then Sunny/Moushumi. This Valentine's Day, a new story, a new character. Valentine's Day Short Film 'Dukkhito.' Original Story by Bishwajit Chowdhury. Screenplay and Directed by Kajal Arefin Ome," announced the director.

Mushfiqur Rahman, Chief Content Officer of Bongo, expressed excitement about this Valentine's Day initiative, stating, "Bongo consistently delivers exceptional content for the audience during various festivals throughout the year. On the occasion of Valentine's Day, we present 'Love Stories- Bhalobashar Dine Bhalobashar Golpo,' featuring four special short films by four renowned filmmakers of the country. Adding to the anticipation, director Mizanur Rahman Aryan is set to mesmerize audiences with another short film titled 'Booking,' based on Bishwajit Chowdhury's 'Mimir Khala.' Starring popular actors Pori Moni and ABM Sumon, this film is currently in production, promising another dose of romance and excitement.

As a prelude to the Valentine's Day festivities, director Kajal Arefin Ome's first web film 'Oshomoy' is set to premiere on Bongo this January, featuring a stellar cast, including Tasnia Farin, Tariq Anam Khan, Monira Mithu, Runa Khan, Intekhab Dinar, Iresh Zaker, Sharaf Ahmed Jibon, and many others. This follows the success of his first web series, 'Hotel Relax,' which stands as Bongo's most successful work to date.
