Daganbhuiyan Upazila admin welcomes Environment Minister Mintoo with neem saplings

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Abdul Awal Mintoo was accorded warm welcome from upazila administration of Daganbhuiyan, Feni on Monday.
The Mnister was welcomed with floral greetings by the upazila administration upon his arrival at Daganbhuiyan Upazila Parishad office.
Later, senior officials of the upazila administration presented him with a neem tree sapling as a symbol of environmental conservation, climate protection and greening.
Minister Abdul Awal Mintoo said, there is no alternative to planting more trees to maintain environmental balance and combat the adverse effects of climate change. He praised the various initiatives of the upazila administration to conserve the environment at the local level and urged the people to come forward to plant trees and increase environmental awareness.
Officials from various departments of the upazila administration, local public representatives, dignitaries, and dignitaries were present at the event.
The reception emphasized the need for collective efforts to conserve the environment. It also highlighted the need for integrated participation of the administration and the general public in the successful implementation of government programs to address the challenges of climate change.
The guests present expressed hope that this event by the upazila administration will spread the environmentally friendly message and add a new dimension to the commitment to building a green Bangladesh.
