Cub Carnival 2025 was held with the participation of students from 30 primary schools in Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar.
Under the management of the Bangladesh Scout Program Department, Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Saiful Islam Talukder inaugurated the day-long colorful event at the Kamalganj Multipurpose Girls High School ground on Sunday .
Students from 30 government primary schools in the upazila participated in various scouting activities, sports and cultural performances in the Cub Carnival.
Kamalganj Upazila Scout Commissioner Md. Sirajul Islam presided over the closing ceremony of the carnival and the Tabu Jalsa at 4 pm. Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Makhon Chandra Sutradhar was present as the chief guest. Upazila Assistant Primary Education Officer Joy Kumar Hazra and Kamalganj Press Club Convener M.A. Wahid Rulu were present as special guests. Among others, teachers Md. Masud Mia and Md. Aminul Islam Chowdhury spoke.
At this time, the speakers called for developing scout spirit and patriotism among children.
