The Bangladesh Coast Guard organized a medical campaign to provide free healthcare services and essential pharmaceuticals to underprivileged residents in St. Martin's Island on Sunday.

Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujan, Media Officer at Coast Guard Headquarters, said this in a press on Sunday afternoon.

According to official statements, under the management of the Coast Guard ship Mansoor Ali, the medical camp was operated through the Coast Guard Station in St. Martin's Island from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sunday. During the day-long outreach program, a total of 232 local residents received complimentary medical consultations and necessary prescription medications.

The Coast Guard media officer reiterated that the maritime security force regularly conducts humanitarian and community welfare initiatives across coastal and riverine regions alongside its operational duties, and vowed that such public service campaigns will continue in the future.
