BSF sends back 26 Bangladeshis thru' Jibannagar border

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has sent back 26 Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in the Indian state of Haryana. Among them, 13 are children, 7 are men and 6 are women.
 
They were sent back through Benipur border in Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga on Wednesday afternoon. 
 
This information was given in a press release signed by 58 BGB Additional Director Abu Hanif Md. Sihanuk at night.
 
The release further said that last Tuesday, the 32nd BSF Battalion informed the 58th BGB Battalion that 26 Bangladeshis living illegally in India had been handed over to the BSF by the Haryana Police.
 
The BSF requested the BGB to take back the 26 Bangladeshis. Yesterday, it sent detailed information including the names, addresses and mobile numbers of the 26 individuals to the BGB.
 
Later, the BGB confirmed the identities of 26 individuals. On Wednesday, the BSF handed over the BGB to the BGB through a flag meeting at the company commander level along the zero line of Benipur border pillar 64 (main pillar).
 
The press release further said that the Bangladeshi individuals sent back by the BSF have been handed over to Jibannagar police station through a general diary (GD).
