Bodies of housewife, two children found in Chirirbandar, 3 arrested

Police have recovered the bodies of a housewife and her two children from her bedroom in Chirirbandar, Dinajpur. Police have arrested the housewife's husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law in this incident.
The incident took place in Mostafapur Balupara village, east of Jugirdanga field in Amarpur union of the upazila, on Sunday (October 18) evening. The body was recovered and sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy on Monday afternoon.
In this incident, the housewife's father, Khairul Islam, filed a murder case with Chirirbandar Police Station, accusing three people.
The deceased were identified as Swarna Akhter (24), wife of Shakil Islam (26), their son Safayet (4) and daughter Royfa Moni (9 months) of Balupara area of Amarpur union in Chirirbandar upazila.
The deceased housewife's father-in-law, Mahatab Uddin, told reporters that when I returned home in the evening after working as a laborer at someone else's house and had rice, I could not hear any response from my son's wife or grandchildren. When they did not open the door despite calling many times, I broke the fence, opened the door of the house and brought out my daughter-in-law's body. After hearing the screams, the neighbors came forward.
Anju Ara, the mother of the deceased housewife, said, "Her son-in-law Shakeel told me over the phone that their daughter had killed her children and committed suicide. When I got the news, I quickly went to my son-in-law's house. However, three months ago, the daughter told me that her son-in-law was addicted to drugs."
Local Union Parishad member Nur Amin Shah said, "There was some writing on the wall of the house, it is not known who wrote the writings. But it was written, this story ends from today. I am an unfortunate mother. Sorry parents. There was a sign I love you."
District Police Superintendent Md. Zedan Al Musa said that various police units have started working to uncover the real mystery or motive of the incident.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Anwar Hossain said, "We have collected evidence and conducted a search. The housewife's husband Shakil Hossain, father-in-law Mahatab Uddin and mother-in-law Rahmat Ala Tara Bibi have been taken into custody for questioning. The real mystery of the incident can be revealed by conducting an autopsy on the bodies."
Mahmudun-Nabi, OC of Chirirbandar Police Station, said that the case was registered after the housewife's father filed a complaint with the police station on Monday afternoon. Further investigation and inquiries are underway to uncover the real mystery of the incident.
