
BGB releases two Indians in exchange for two farmers

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has returned two Bangladeshis who were captured from the Biral border in Dinajpur. In exchange, two Indian citizens were handed over to the BSF.
The handover took place on Friday (May 2) night through a BGB-BSF flag meeting.
Earlier on the same day, the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) arrested two Bangladeshis from the Dinajpur Biral border area. At that time, the two Indians were immediately detained by local villagers.The detained Bangladeshis are Enamul Islam, son of Israel Islam of the area, and Enamul Islam's son Masud Rana.According to local sources, two farmers named Masud and Enamul were working on threshing paddy at the Dharmajain border of Dharmapur union in Biral. They were caught by BSF members around 11 am on Friday. After the incident The Indian national was detained by villagers from inside the Bangladesh border. Later, when BGB members went there, they were handed over to the BGB.Locals said that two Indian farmers, Thilip Soren and Avinash Tudu, were arrested and handed over to the BGB while trying to drink water from an irrigation system in Bangladesh.
