Bangladesh Islamic Chhatra Shibir, Barishal Metropolitan, held a mass procession and rally demanding justice for the fascist government's disappearances, murders, corruption and all anti-state activities and those involved in the July massacre.

The procession started from Jame Kashai Mosque in Barisal city after Juma prayers on Friday, circled the Nagar Bhaban and High Court areas, passed through Sadar Road and ended with a rally in front of the Town Hall.

Central Student Welfare and Social Service Secretary Hafez Dr. Rezwanul Haque was present as the chief guest at the mass procession. And Central Debate Secretary Harunur Rashid Rafi was present as the special guest.

Chief guest Hafez Dr. Rezwanul Haque, in his speech, strongly condemned and protested against the attacks on students in different parts of the country by the terrorist organization Chhatra League, an ally of fascism. He also strongly demanded political reform, education system reform and overall state system reform in his speech.

Special guest Harunur Rashid Rafi said that the Awami League, Chhatra League and their associates involved in the July massacre should be brought to justice immediately and the terrorist organization Awami League should also be banned along with Chhatra League.

Barishal Metropolitan Shibir President Riazul Islam presided over the mass procession and rally.

Barishal Metropolitan Secretary Hasan Mahmud Naim, Barisal District President Akbar Hossain and Jhalakati District President M Sayem along with Shibir leaders at various levels of the district and metropolis were also present.
