Barishal District Level Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament inaugurated

With the slogan of Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Development through Reading and Writing, the inaugural ceremony of the Barisal District Level Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament Boys and Girls 2024 was held at the Baptist Mission Boys High School ground in collaboration with the District Administration Barisal on Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
The chief guest was Deputy Commissioner Barishal Mohammad Delwar Hossain. The program was presided over by District Primary Education Officer Barisal Sheikh Md. Akhtaruzzaman.
The special guests were Deputy Police Commissioner (North) Barisal Metropolitan Police Runa Laila, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Barisal Upma Farisa and other guests. In the beginning, the guests hoisted the national flag along with the national anthem.
Later, after a brief discussion, the chief guest inaugurated the program by flying a dove, a symbol of peace. After the inauguration, the Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament was held at the district level.
