Banned Chinese net seized in Nandail

A mobile court led by Assistant Commissioner ( Land) Md.Faijur Rahman with Fisheries Department seized banned Chinese Doari nets from the commercial area Nandail Chowrasta. The three shopkeepers were immediately fined Tk 10000
Later, the nets were burnt and destroyed infront of the upazila administration building on Monday. Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Shahana Nazneen, Assistant Fisheries Officer Md.Mojammel Hossain, Sub inspector Pinto and the accompanying force were present.
