
BAF Chief briefs its contingent leaving for Central African Republic

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is on the verge of replacing Bangladesh Armed Military Utility Helicopter Unit-6 (BANAMUHU-6) contingent at the United Nations Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA).
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan addressed the members of the contingent (BANAMUHU-6) at Air Headquarters said anInter-Services Public Relations press release on Monday.
While addressing, the Chief of Air Staff advised peacekeepers to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity to bring good
reputation for Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) as well as for the country.
Thereafter, he participated in a special munajat arranged for the success of the contingent.
Among others, principal staff officers, air officer commanding of the Air Bases of Dhaka area, senior BAF officers of the Air Headquarters and Bases
were present on the occasion.
Mentionable, BAF deployed 03 (Three) Armed Version Mi-171 helicopters equipped with Night Vision Systems and necessary ground support equipment in
the said mission area. The BANAMUHU-6 contingent will be led by Air Commodore Imranur Rahman.It will depart for the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) from Hazrat
Shahjalal International Airport on June 19, 2025.
