ATM Azharul Islam in Rangpur : We want free, fair, impartial elections after trial, reforms

 Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Executive Council Member and former acting Secretary General  ATM Azaharul Islam said, "We want free, fair and impartial elections at a reasonable time after trial and reforms. He said this in response to a question from journalists after the gratitude gathering and Eid reunion program organized with the responsible persons at the Rangpur Metropolitan and District Jamaat offices on Friday morning. 

In his speech as the chief guest at the Thanksgiving gathering and Eid reunion program, ATM Azharul Islam said, "We will work for the Islamic movement for the pleasure of Allah. We will build our lives as believers in the light of the Quran and Sunnah. Our lives are dedicated to the path of Allah. Wishing forgiveness and paradise to the fascist dictator and oppressor who fell in exchange for the life of Abu Sayeed, the creative son of Rangpur. ATM Azharul Islam said, "We, who have taken an oath to establish the religion of Allah on the land of Allah, must give priority to the work of the hereafter over all worldly work." He said, "Prison is for criminals and politicians. This prison has worked as a blessing for the Islamic movement during the past oppressive government. The past 15 years have been a difficult test in real life for the workers of the Islamic movement. The harm that has been done to us during this time. The Awami League has harmed itself more than that.Those who have joined the Islamic movement in this difficult time have understood the true Islam."
 He said that since 2009, our work has not stopped, but has increased a lot. This is the mercy of Allah. We will continue our struggle for the establishment of Allah's religion until the last day of our lives, Insha Allah.

The rally was presided over by Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Majlish-e-Shura Member and Rangpur Metropolitan Branch Ameer Vice-Principal Maulana ATM Azam Khan. Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Working Committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Assistant  Team Director Maulana Momtaz Uddin, Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Working Committee member and Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Team Member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Central Majlish-e-Shura member and Rangpur District Ameer Professor Muhammad Golam Rabbani, among others, spoke at the gathering.
