 Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Executive Council member and former Acting Secretary General ATM Azharul Islam said, “Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir is working to establish a corruption-free and discrimination-free society by developing its talented students into patriots and honest citizens”

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the felicitation ceremony for the meritorious students who obtained GPA-5 in the 2025 SSC, Dakhil and equivalent examinations organized by Islami Chhatra Shibir Badarganj Upazila branch at the Badarganj Upazila Parishad Auditorium in Rangpur on Saturday morning.  Gifts were given to more than two hundred meritorious students who obtained GPA-5.

The program was presided over by the Badarganj Upazila Branch President of Islami Chhatra Shibir, Mojahidul Islam Sabuj, and among others, Badarganj Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Maulana Kamruzzaman Kabir, Upazila Nayebe Ameer Shah Mohammad Rostam Ali, Upazila Secretary Maulana Minhajul Islam, Central Human Rights Secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir Sifat ul Alam, District Secretary Mohammad Hamidur Rahman, District Dawah and Madrasa Secretary Abdullah Al Noman, former student leader of Begum Rokeya University Mojahidul Islam, Upazila Secretary Abdullah Al Aman spoke at the program.

At this time, ATM Azharul Islam said, "People of all religions have equal rights in Bangladesh. Today, the Islami Chhatra Shibir is providing education to talented students of all religions, both Muslims and non-Muslims. This is an example of that." He said, "They have set up various drug factories across the border to destroy the character of our youth." The talented have achieved success by facing these challenges. Only the talented can take the country and society forward. For this, the talented should work honestly and sincerely with good character and patriotism to build a society free from terrorism and extortion. He said that people are the best blessing of Allah's creation. This talented blessing should be used for the welfare of the society and the state to build the country.

At the rally, ATM Azharul Islam said that no one can be honest without being religious. Therefore, every parent should educate their children in religious education along with modern education. He said that spoiled talented people send their parents to old age homes, while pious talented people do good to the society along with their parents. Islami Chhatra Shibir and Islami Chhatra Sangstha teach this good character. Therefore, to build a modern, happy and prosperous society, children should be taught to build their lives in Islamic education along with modern education.

ATM Azharul Islam earlier delivered the keynote address at the Youth Leadership Training Workshop organized by Jamaat-e-Islami's Badarganj Upazila Youth Division at the upazila premises yesterday morning.

Later in the afternoon, Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Executive Council member and former acting secretary general ATM Azharul Islam delivered the keynote address at a gathering organized at the Kutubpur Degree College auditorium in Kutubpur Union of Badarganj Upazila. Jamaat-e-Islami Qutubpur Union Ameer Professor Abdul Majid presided over the gathering, with District Jamaat Secretary Maulana Enamul Haque present as special guest.
