The whole world including Bangladesh is worried about this terrible situation. Parents are scared, worried. They are worried when their beloved children will lose direction in the flow of drugs and get trapped in the web of addiction. When he was beaten and intoxicated and sent to the pit of death.

Today, the whole nation along with parents are worried and scared to protect their children from this terrible situation. And the demand to give responsibility to the army to eradicate the drug empire of Teknaf-Ukhia-Ramur Yaba in Cox's Bazar has given rise to a wide discussion. Talks are going on about this from the field level to the highest level of administration and even at the government's policy making level, positive response has been received everywhere. Conscious Mahal claims that the army be deployed across three upazilas of Cox's Bazar, identified as the entrance to the Yaba, should continue for months.

They also called for declaring the military operation to protect a large number of teenagers, youths and youths from the terrible scourge of drug addiction as a "national duty program". Persecuted journalist Faridul Mostafa of Cox's Bazar appealed for the start of an army operation to save him from the curse of drugs. Since then, the issue has become the focus of discussion. As Faridul Mostafa identified Yaba as the curse of drugs, he also termed Yaba as the scourge of Cox's Bazar. Said, this pink colored pill called Yaba has destroyed Cox's Bazar. The entire Cox's Bazar has left the population behind a thousand years by destroying the confidence of the hundreds of years. Similarly, the use of Cox's Bazar land to send billions of Yaba invoices throughout the country is causing drug disaster. He said, we Cox's Bazar residents have been carrying that shame for years. The burden of this hatred is increasing day by day and becoming unbearable.

Faridul Mostafa, a journalist who has always been a compromised role in the elimination of Yaba, was extremely abused by the Yaba Syndicate, and he survived to die in the hands of OC Lip. Faridul Mostafa mentioned the real situation there, saying that the operations that OC Pradeepra had carried out in the name of eliminating drugs were taught by drug addicts and godfathers.

> What is drugs? A drug is a drug that is addictive. Drugs include ganja, phencidyl, charas, bhang, gul, jorda, heroin, phethedrin, alcohol, yaba. When a person becomes dependent on these substances, he is called a drug addict. The Bangladesh Narcotics Control Act made in the 5th refers to drug addicts, physically or mentally dependent on drugs or drug users. The World Health Organization thus defines drug addiction .Drugs are harmful to individuals and society and are produced by repeated consumption of drugs (natural and synthetic.).

> Why this addiction? Among the factors that lead people to drug addiction are abnormal competition, social instability, tension, boredom, loneliness and inability to cope with failure in the environment of changing family structure. However, the main reason for the increase in the number of drug addicts is the availability of drugs.

Rapid urbanization, population growth, widespread development and use of internet and information technology, lack of social awareness, etc. are also responsible for increasing drug problems. The rate of drug addiction is also increasing due to family strife, broken family due to divorce, depression from failure in love and job. Most drug users have blamed 'peer pressure' or as the main 'pool factor' in the face of friends. For the first time, curiosity for taking drugs serves as an important reason.

> 12 types of drugs: There are currently 12 types of drug consumption in the country. The drugs that have been recovered so far are heroin, marijuana, cholai alcohol, domestic alcohol, beer, rectified spirit, cadin, fencidil, pithidrin, TD jesic, vango, codin tablet, pharmant, fermented. ), Bonozesic injection (Buprenorphin), TerahidrobanabilXlmuger, Morphine, Yaba, ISPil, Viagra, Sanagra, Toluene, Potassium Permanganate, Methyl, Ethanol and Ketone. In addition, information has been found that some people are intoxicated by taking different sleeping tablets including inoctin, sidaxin, painkillers including jambak or burning the tail of a lizard.

> Identified various causes of drug addiction:- 1. Peer pressure, 2. Availability of drugs at hand means availability of drugs, 3. Unemployment and failure at work, 4. Social instability, 1. Ignorance about the illness of the drug, 1. Religious and moral values in society, 1. Family dispute, 1. Medical drug addiction, 1. Curious, 1. Smoking etc.. Recently, the World Health Organization has stated that the risk of contracting the coronavirus in drug addiction and smoking is serious. Tobacco smoke contains 7,000 chemicals, 70 of which cause cancer, and one of its components falls under the category of drugs, namely nicotine. Research shows that 98 percent of drug addicts are smokers. That is, they start their addiction by smoking. Later they became addicted to marijuana, phencidyl, yaba, heroin and cocaine.
Statistics of drugs in Bangladesh at a glance:- 15-30 years of society have the highest probability of drug addiction. About 84.27 percent of the population of Bangladesh aged 16-40 are addicted to drugs. Within this age range, youth aged 21-25 are 'most at risk'. 16-20 and 26-30 year olds are 'intermediate risk'; 31-35 year olds are at 'low risk'. About 7.5 million people in Bangladesh are drug addicts. A large part of the country's unemployed population is also drug addicts. 5 percent of the total drug addicts are educated and 5 percent are illiterate. About 5 percent of drug addicts are sexually offended, 5 percent of which are infected with HIV virus. About 160,000 drug dealers are running their business across the country, of which 27,300 are women.

> Reasons for damage to mental health in drug use:-Drugs take away life from life. Drug use is very harmful. It greatly affects a person's personal life and social life. As a result of regular drug consumption, a person's mood, judgment and self-control, high level of emotional changes etc. are negatively affected. Due to which personal problems as well as family, social and economic problems are created. Let's know the psychological damage caused by drug consumption.

> Degradation of Relationships: The person's mood changes rapidly as a result of regular drug consumption. As a result, they are a little upset and angry. Because of this, their relationships with others can be developed and even a hostile relationship with some can be formed. In our country it is often heard that family members have been tortured by drug addicts.

> Judgment disappears:-Regular drug consumption results in the fulfillment of the person's healthy thinking. Because of this, the ability to properly judge, evaluate or analyze and understand an event or situation or any subject is not normal.
Decisionalness: Taking---and-a-administers have trouble making the person's decision. They cannot make the right decision at the right time as they disappear. Be hesitant about anything. As a result, their confidence decreases and self-esteem disappears.

> Addiction:- People who get addicted to drugs create a psychological problem for their family as well as economically and socially causing great loss to those families. They easily get involved with various vices of the society.

> Loss of self-control:-The addict has no control over himself. Even though he realizes that what he is doing is wrong, he cannot free himself from wrongdoing. And gradually his level of wrongdoing increases, yet he cannot turn himself out of the path of wrongdoing.

> Concerned: There is always an anxiety, anxiety, instability among those who are taking regular drugs. Their mind-mood changes rapidly. For example: This is very excited and this is very worried. As a result, no work can be done with concentration.

> Loss of pleasure in work:- A person who takes drugs does not feel motivated in any work. His joy in every aspect of life slowly fades away. He no longer finds joy or interest in doing any other work.
Involved in dangerous activities:- The drug user gradually starts doing extremely dangerous activities. For example: reckless driving on the road, violation of traffic laws etc. will increase day by day. As a result of which incidents like road accidents and premature deaths occur.

Finally, I want to say that drug addiction is one of the most dangerous diseases of modern civilization. The lives and families of countless successful scholars, intellectuals, technicians and similar successful people in the world have been destroyed by alcohol. Day by day this problem is becoming more prominent. When one member of a family becomes addicted to drugs, a terrible atmosphere descends on that family. Problems that arise around drugs lead a family to disaster. Drug problems spread from the family sphere to the society. In the end it became a state problemTherefore, law and order forces should be made more active, efficient and trained to prevent drug-smuggling at the border. Because our country is located in a dangerous place in the middle of the drug-smuggling routes.

If the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs Control Act (1990) are properly applied and strictly implemented in a timely manner, drug abuse can be prevented to a large extent. Therefore, starting from the conscious patriotic journalists, politicians, administrative officers and ordinary residents of Cox's Bazar, they have expressed the same opinion and said that the way things are going on in a civilized society and a law-abiding state cannot and should not go on. A permanent solution is urgently needed. In that case, they want a non-stop campaign led by the army only centered on Cox's Bazar. In that campaign, healthy people who have really returned from drugs to a healthy life should be involved, they will help in identifying the godfathers, starting from the drug ring leaders.

Through this national duty program, the countrymen including Cox's Bazar are eagerly waiting to see the dawn of the new sun without drugs. And drug dealers and smugglers are the biggest enemies of the country and the nation. Social resistance against them requires collective participation of all. Public awareness has to be made about the destructive impact of drug use and the anti -drug social movement should be spread all over the country. There is no alternative to building a healthy healthy society to protect future generations from the consumption of drugsSo let's all help drug addicts, give them full treatment. Only then they will not be a burden to the society but will return to the family after being healthy, they will guide the society in the right direction.
