Allegations of conflict, controversial activities: BNP leaders demand dissolution of Charmonai Union committee

Local leaders and activists have expressed strong anger over the current BNP committee in Charmonai Union of Barisal Sadar Upazila. They have demanded the immediate dissolution of the committee, alleging controversial activities.
The leaders made this demand at a view-sharing meeting organized by the local BNP in Charmonai Union of Barishal Sadar Upazila to the Sadar Constituency MP Mujibur Rahman Sarwar on Friday.
Former MP from Barisal-5 (Sadar) constituency and BNP central leader Advocate Mujibur Rahman Sarwar was present as the chief guest at the event hosted by Md. Al-Amin.
The speakers criticized the current committee of Charmonai Union BNP in various ways and said that the controversial and inconsistent behavior of the leaders of the current committee has created extreme dissatisfaction among the general workers. If this continues and this committee is maintained and moved forward, BNP politics in Charmonai Union will come to naught. In order to make the party organization dynamic and strong, it is necessary to quickly abolish this committee and form a new committee consisting of dedicated and tested leaders.
Among others present at the meeting were Alhaj Nurul Amin, Convener, Barishal Sadar Upazila BNP Alhaj Nasir Uddin Howlader, Member, Barisal Sadar Upazila BNP, Atiqur Rahman Pannu, Member, Barishal Sadar Upazila BNP, Yasin Sikder Chunnu, Member, Barisal Sadar Upazila BNP, Al-Amin, leader, Nationalist Volunteer Group.
A large number of leaders and activists of Charmonai Union BNP and its various branches and associate organizations were present.
