Abnormal death of 45 people including 8 murders in three months in Satkhira

In the first three months of this year, there were 45 abnormal deaths including 8 murders in Satkhira. Out of this, 18 people died in January, 13 in February and 14 people died abnormally till the 22nd of this March.

According to sources, 18 people died abnormally in January this year. Among them, 4 people were killed.

Nine people were killed in road accident, 02 people died by drowning, 01 person died by falling from the roof, 01 person died by falling from a tree and 01 person died by electrocution. Police recovered a body this month.

According to sources, a total of 13 abnormal deaths occurred in the month of February. In this month, 2 persons were killed, 3 persons were killed in road accidents, 3 persons committed suicide, 2 persons died due to electrocution, 01 persons died due to drowning, 01 persons died due to drinking poisonous liquor and 1 student died unnaturally.

As of March 22, there have been 14 unusual deaths. Among them, 2 murders occurred. Besides, 3 people died in road accident, 2 people died in pillar and wall crash. 2 people died due to drowning and 01 person died due to electrocution. At this time, the police recovered 2 bodies. Besides, a school girl committed suicide in the clutches of a swindler.

Besides, several cases of human rights violations including rape, women and children abuse, child marriage, trafficking, theft, robbery, mob violence, extortion have occurred.
