15 arrested on various charges, 5 in Operation Devil Hunt in Rajshshi city

A total of 15 people have been arrested in operations conducted by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) thana and DB police, including 5 arrested under the joint forces' Operation Devil Hunt in Rajshahi city.
Like the rest of the country, Operation Devil Hunt was conducted in Rajshahi metropolis to prevent instability. In the last 24 hours, 5 individuals were arrested in various parts of the metropolis during operations for their alleged involvement in attacks on the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, causing explosions, terrorist activities, and other crimes. Besides , in RMP operations, 10 people were arrested, including 4 in drug-related cases, 3 with outstanding warrants, and 3 for other offenses.
Those arrested under Operation Devil Hunt are Md. Abdullah Khan (68), Md. Monirul Islam (29), Md. Mithun (36), Md. Nazmul (32), and Mosa. Saheda Begum (35).
Abdullah Khan is the son of the late Ala Uddin Khan from the Guripara area under Kashiadanga thana in Rajshahi metropolis. He is a former president of the Rajshahi District Workers' League. Monirul Islam and Mithun are sons of Mohammad Ali from the same area, Nazmul is the son of the late Enamul Haque, and Saheda Begum is the wife of Md. Raton.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested accused.
