10th Shah Cement AKS Cup Golf Tournament begins

The 10th Shah Cement AKS Cup Golf Tournament 2025 officially commenced at the Kurmitola Golf Course on Friday.
The tournament, running from January 22-24 January 2025, has drawn around 650 golfers from across the country, including members of the Kurmitola Golf Club and various other golf clubs, according to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral M Nazmul Hassan inaugurated the tournament as chief guest, it said.
Commandant of the National Defence College and Vice President of the Kurmitola Golf Club, Lt Gen Mohammad Shahinul Haque, Executive Director of Abul Khair Group, Freedom Fighter Brig Gen Shahidullah Chowdhury, Club Captain Brig Gen Mohammad Touhid Hossain, senior officers of the Bangladesh Navy, senior officials of Abul Khair Group, and relevant military and civilian officers were present at the event, among others.
