Ansar personnel recover stolen supplies,  reunite missing child in separate operations in Ctg

Chattogram Bureau

Vigilant Ansar personnel deployed at key government installations in Chattogram conducted two successful operations, apprehending a thief with stolen hospital supplies and reuniting a lost four-year-old child with her family.

The first incident occurred at around 9:15 pm on Saturday near the emergency gate of Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH). Patrolling Ansar members, Assistant Platoon Commander (APC) Md. Mofizul Haq and Ansar member Md. Motiar Hossain, intercepted a temporary lift operator identified as Hridoy Miah. Upon searching him, officers recovered 40 units of intravenous saline, medical cotton, and 1 kilogram of chicken belonging to the hospital's dietary department.

During preliminary questioning, the suspect alleged that an outsourcing worker named Alam had instructed him to deliver the supplies to his residence. Following administrative directives from hospital authorities, the suspect was handed over to police alongside the seized items for legal proceedings.

Simultaneously, at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram, on-duty Ansar members Nighum Ananda Roy and APC Md. Wajed Ali noticed a weeping four-year-old girl named Wajiha near the parking area gate, unable to locate her parents.

The Ansar personnel immediately notified the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and took the child into protective custody. Following an urgent search operation, the team successfully identified and located her parents, safely restoring the child to her family in the presence of airport officials.
