An anti-drug workshop and public awareness campaign titled “Youth Festival 2025” was organized by the Bangladesh Coast Guard on Wednesday in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon.
In a press release issued on Wednesday afternoon, Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Syam-ul-Hoque shared details of the event in a press release.
According to the press release, since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has been tirelessly working to ensure the overall security of people in coastal and riverside areas. In addition to its regular duties, the Coast Guard also undertakes various public awareness initiatives.
As part of that ongoing effort, the Dhaka Zone of the Bangladesh Coast Guard organized an anti-drug workshop and awareness campaign titled “Youth Festival 2025” from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday at the Government Music College in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka.
Representatives from the Department of Narcotics Control, Dhaka, along with students of the college and other young participants, took part in the program.
The Bangladesh Coast Guard affirmed its commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future to protect the younger generation from the destructive grip of drugs.
