The main theme of this training, organized with the support of the 'Citizenship Civic Engagement Fund (CEF),' was - ensuring the active role of public-private partners in gender equality, human rights, and preventing violence against women.

The program was presided over by Samita Begum Mira, Executive Director of RWDO. Shahina Akhter, Deputy Director of the Women's Affairs Department, and Md. Abdur Rafiq, Deputy Director of the Social Services Office, were present as guests.

Mohsin Reza, Area Manager of the Parayon Project, and Zahidul Islam Rashid, Councilor-cum-Trainer, conducted the important session during the training.
Officials from the Department of Social Services and Women's Affairs of Sylhet Sadar, South Surma, Jaintapur, Gowainghat and Companiganj Upazilas and officers from the Upazila Information Office participated in the training. In addition, lawyers, police force members and local media workers were present.

One of the goals of this initiative is to provide an opportunity for local people to directly address their concerns through community-based dialogue. This will allow women to directly present their experiences, problems, and grievances to law enforcement and government officials.

It was announced in the discussion that public hearings will be organized in each union, where women's rights, violence prevention, and social security issues will be seriously discussed.

The guests in their speeches emphasized the need to ensure legal support and administrative intervention to prevent violence against women. They said that the joint efforts of the administration, social workers, and the community are essential to establish women's rights.
