VGF rice distributed in Alikadam on holy Eid-ul-Fitr

Free VGF rice has been distributed at the Nayapara union of Alikadam upazila of Bandarban district on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr in the fiscal year 2024-2025.
The distribution of VGF rice distribution was held on Tuesday at the Nayapara Union Parishad office of Alikadam Upazila, organized by the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, in collaboration with the Union Parishad.
Chairman of Nayapara Union Parishad M. Kafil Uddin rice distributed. Alikadam Upazila Nationalist Party BNP Senior Joint convener Zulfiqar Ali Vutto was present at the distribution of VGF rice. Alikadam Upazila Jamaat Amir Masuk Ahmed. Upazila Tag Officer, No.1 Abu Hanif Raju, Administrative Officer of Nayapara Union Parishad. UP member Jahangir Alam , UP member Bashir Ahmed and other ward members were present.
VGF rice is being distributed to 2,200 people of the union, said M Kafil Uddin, chairman of Nayapara UP.
Additional Officer of the Upazila Project, Moinul Islam said, on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid -ul -Fitr, the poor, helpless, very poor, in the 4 unions of Alikadam Upazila, about 5,8,700 families will be distributed by 10 kg. He also said that rice will be distributed in the presence of 4 responsible tag officers of the 4 unions of the upazila during the distribution of VGF rice
