UP Secretary beaten up, distribution of rice obstructed by Jubo Dal leaders in Hatiya

In the Harani Union Parishad of Noakhali, Union Parishad Secretary has been beaten up and obstruction has been made to distribute rice by two Jubo Dal leaders on Wednesday (June 5) at the Harni Union Parishad office.
After the incident, the activities of the council were temporarily closed and locked in the office.
Union Parishad Secretary. Nazrul Islam said, the allotted rice allotted to the fishermen for a period of 5 days was distributed among 5 people, which was scheduled in accordance with the list.
He also said, "Later, the tag officer of the council and the village police came and rescued me. Later, when the room was thrown out, the brick-and-mortar windows were vandalized."
UNO Md. Alauddin sent the police and brought the situation under control.
He said, "Quick action is taken after being informed about the incident. The accused group was threatening earlier. The secretary has been advised to seek legal assistance."
On the other hand, Humayun Kabir, convenor of the northern branch of the Hatia Upazila Farmer, said, "I went to the spot, but I was not involved in the beatings. I left the area during excitement.
Sohail Uddin, the president of the Horn Union Union Jubo Dal, said, "Many of the fishermen complained that many who got the slip were not in the real jail.
At present, the activities of the Harni Union Parishad office are temporarily closed and additional police have been deployed there for security.
