Two robbers held with domestic weapons in Matiranga

Police arrested two robbers with domestic weapons from Islampur area of Matiranga upazila at around 9:30 pm on Saturday.
The detainees are the son of Naim al -Sultan Prakash Naeem (1), the son of Safiqul Islam, a resident of ward no. 9 of Matiranga municipality. 2. Md. Yusuf Prakash Kala (1) is the son of Tashir Ahmed, a resident of Kushakhali UP, Lakshpur district.
In the name of both of them, there are multiple cases under the Arms Act at different police stations in Noakhali district.
According to police sources, the robber entered the residence of Mohammad Manzoor Islam in Nawapara area of ward no 2 of Matiranga municipality. Their domestic weapons and hostages were taken away by cash, gold, and looted various belongings.
On the basis of intelligence, the two of them were detained from the residence of Islampur Naeem, Noom, on the basis of intelligence.
During their confession, the robbery and weapons used in the robbery, the door-to-door breaking machine 2, Dhama 1, knife 1, chapati 1, Hasua 2, ash color burqa 3 were recovered.
OC of Matiranga Police Station Tawfiqul Islam Tawfiq said, two robbers were detained for looting various goods including cash money, fearing domestic weapons by entering the residence of Mohammad Manzoor Islam.
