Bangladesh Association of South Jersey, a popular community organisation of New Jersey in USA accorded a recption to its former Chief Election Commissioner, Editor of the English daily The Country Today and journalist leader Hemayet Hossain at Bangladesh Community Centre at Atlantic City in New Jersey, USA on Wednesday evening.

Presided over by Mohammad Zahirul Islam Babul, President of the organisation, Marty Small, Mayor of Atlantic City was present as Chief Guest guest. The reception and BRBQ party was addressed among others General Secretary of the Association Mohammad Zakirul Islam Khoka, Presiding of Bangladesh Press Club of Atlantic City Akbar Hussain, General Secretary Mohammad Shahin, Trustee Board Chairman Abdur Rafiq, Councilman Morshed, Anjum Zia, community leader and fommer election commissioner Md Rahman Babul, businessman Saeh Ahmed Liton, Atlantic County Democratic Party President Michael Suleiman, Mayor of Egg Harbour City Lisa Jiampetti and candidates of different positions of Atlantic City mayoral polls.

President of the Association Mohammad Zahirul Babul said, this organisation has been working for the community for a long time and it will go a far way to serve the community people.

Hemayet Hossain urged the leaders of the organisation to work unitedly and to go ahead to serve the purpose of the community. He further said, the Association has achieved a great success by establishing Bangladesh Community Centre.
The community BRBQ party was massiveky attended by community leaders and politicians from mainstream.
