Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani, Department of Botany, Dhaka University, has been appointed as the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University. With the approval of His Excellency the President and the Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani was appointed as the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) on Thursday  in accordance with Article 13 (1) of the Dhaka University Order, 1973.

After being appointed, Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani joined Dhaka University as Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) at a ceremony organized at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom on Thursday  afternoon. At this time, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof  Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, the recently outgoing Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin Prof Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Abdus Salam, Treasurer Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, along with deans of various faculties, provosts of various halls, chairmen of various departments, directors of various institutes and a large number of teachers and officials of the university were present.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam welcomed the newly appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani and expressed his commitment to ensure academic excellence, transparency and accountability of the university.

The newly appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) of Dhaka University, Prof Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani, expressed his gratitude to Allah Almighty upon assuming the responsibility and pledged to work with dedication to maintain the dignity and reputation of the university.
