Moynul Islam made acting president of BCMEA

Moynul Islam, Vice Chairman of Monno Ceramic Industries Ltd, has been appointed as the Acting President of the Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BCMEA).
He takes over the role in the absence of current President Md Shirajul Islam Mollah.
The decision was made during the 51st board meeting of the association, held on December 7.
Moynul Islam had previously served as the Senior Vice President of BCMEA for the 2023-24 term.
Irfan Uddin, Director of FARR Ceramics Ltd, continues as the General Secretary of the association. Mamunur Rashid holds the position of Senior Vice President, while the Vice Presidents include Engr. Ruslan Nasir, Abdul Hakim (Sumon), Tanvir Ahmed and Sifat E Arman.
The BCMEA board of directors includes prominent figures in the ceramic industry, including Md Shirajul Islam Mollah, SM Faruqi Hasan, Md Shamsul Huda, Fariyan Yusuf, Ayesha Sanaa Asif Tabani and Rasheed Mymunul Islam.
