Memorial Football Tournament Held in Tongibari
Md. Masum, Tongibari (Munshiganj)
A friendly football match was held for the 8th time in memory of the late Tarek and Sifat, the children of Gnaisa village in Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj, between the small team and the big team.
The match was organized by the Gnaisa youth society on Saturday at 4 pm at the Gnaisa field. In the said game, the small team of Gnaisa defeated the big team by 5-0 goals.
Shamsuddin Chokder Jewel, the idol of Gnaisa youth society, inaugurated the game. Pachgaon Union BNP President and former UP Chairman Md. Selim Sheikh was present as the chief guest at the time. Presided over by prominent social worker Obaidul Haque Swapan Chokder and moderated by Wahiduzzaman Kiran Chokder, Kamrul Islam Bipon, Qayum Fakir, Amin Sikder, Delwar Hossain Chokder, Shahin Sheikh and many others were also present at the event.
