BGB steps up activities in Dinajpur to prevent fuel smuggling

The 42nd Battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has taken a strict stance to prevent illegal storage and smuggling of fuel oil in the border area of Dinajpur.
Lt. Col. Abdullah Al Moin Hasan, commander of the 42nd Battalion of the BGB, said that in addition to strengthening patrols in the border area, they are also conducting searches on various types of vehicles, including buses, trucks, and vans.
To prevent smuggling, BGB members have arranged for additional special patrols in addition to regular patrols, including 29 BOPs and 5 special camps.
To prevent the smuggling of petrol and octane into India through containers like bottles and jars, surveillance has been increased along the border, including special patrols. They have also sought the cooperation of the general public in providing information regarding the smuggling of fuel stocks.
