A colourful food festival titled “Barsha Bilash” was organized on Tuesday at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) by the first-year BBA students.
At the festival, participating students displayed and sold a variety of local and seasonal monsoon foods at different stalls. The entire venue was filled with a wide array of delicacies and a festive atmosphere created by the vibrant presence of young students.
The event was inaugurated by NUB Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Engineer Md. Mostafizur Rahman as the chief guest. Member of the NUB Trust, Ms. Labiba Abdullah, attended as special guest, along with Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, University Advisor. The guests visited the stalls and praised the students’ initiative.
Alongside food exhibitions and sales, a delightful cultural program performed by the students was also arranged. The festival was open to all, and students from nearby colleges and universities also joined spontaneously along with NUB students.
Altogether, the “Barsha Bilash” Food Festival turned into a joyous gathering of youthful enthusiasm.
