Youth killed by wild elephan attack in Longadu

Md. Faisal (15), father-Safiqul Islam, was killed in an attack by a wild elephant in Chailatali of Bhasanyadam union of Longadu upazila in Rangamati.
On Sunday at about 5 pm, the incident took place in Chailatali New Bridge area of Vasanyadam Union.
Vasanyadam UP Chairman Hazrat Ali said Faisal was attacked by an elephant on the road while taking his own cows home from the fields.
Confirming the truth of the incident, Longadu police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Iqbal Uddin said that he received information that a teenager named Faisal was killed in an elephant attack. Our team has been there. Action will be taken after knowing the details.
It is to be noted that in Bhasanyadam, Bagachtar and Gulsakhali Union of Longadu Upazila, there have been cases of injuries, deaths and damage to houses and crops due to attacks by wild elephants.
