Young man's body recovered in Srimangal

Srimangal Thana Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth hanging from a tree in the West Karyaura area of Srimangal Upazila in Moulvibazar.
On Monday at around 4:30 pm, the body was recovered from inside Sheikh Jabbar Hijing (in Mahuri Complex) on Rupashpur Paschim Kharyura road of the upazila. Police have not yet identified the identity of the deceased.
The police believe that the deceased person is about 28 years old. According to local sources, a woman came to feed the cows around noon today and found the dead body hanging from a tree with a rope. Later UP member Manik Mia informed the police about the dead body.
Srimangal Thana SI Md. Alauddin said while visiting the spot, we are coming to the spot after getting to know on the phone from local UP member Manik Mia. Arrangements are being made to send the body to the morgue after recovering the body.
The autopsy report will tell later whether it was murder or suicide.
