World Tourism Day celebrated in Kuakata

World Tourism Day was celebrated in Kuakata with a colourful events on Wednesday.
Organized by the upazila administration and Kuakata municipality, a procession left the municipal premises and after circling the main road of the city, went to the tourism fair and discussion meeting place area, adjacent to the beach tourism park.
Kalapara UNO Md. Jahangir Hossain inaugurated the three-day tourism fair and concert by hoisting the national flag, flying pigeons and balloons after the procession.
Later, Kuakata Municipal Mayor Md. Anwar Hawladar, Tourism Zone Magistrate Md. Rabiul Islas, Kuakata Press Club President Nasir Uddin Biplab, Mahipur Police Station OC (Investigation) Md. Aslam Mia, Kuakata Tourist Police Zone OC Hasnain Parvez, Kuakata Television journalist forum president Md. Anwar Hossain spoke in the discussion marking on the Tourism Day.
For the next three days, fairs and concerts will be held in the area adjacent to the beach tourism park.
