WhatsApp to let users pin multiple messages for easier chat experience
ICT Desk
WhatsApp, the leading messaging service of Meta, is making it easier to mark the important information in chats. The platform is increasing the pin limit to 3 messages per chat, following the introduction of pinned message feature last year.
Previously, WhatsApp only allowed users to pin a single message per chat. That time, pinning a second message would have replaced the first one that was pinned earlier.
This newly upgraded pinned messages limit will also apply to group chats as well as individual chat. Users will be able to pin any message, be it text, emojis, images, or polls. This means users have to no longer scramble through endless message threads to find any important information like address, birthday, anniversary dates , or meeting details.
The method for pinning a message will remain the same as earlier—just long-pressing on any message and selecting “Pin” from the above menu. In case of group chats, admins will have the authority to decide whether every group member can pin messages or it’ll remain as an admin-only privilege.

However, the update may not be available all over the world at the same time. That means, some users have to wait till its landing in their respective countries and regions.
