Week-long cleanliness campaign to prevent dengue started in Natore Municipality

A week-long cleanliness drive has been launched to prevent dengue in Natore Municipal Area. Natore Acting Deputy Commissioner and Natore Municipal Administrator Md. Machudur Rahman inaugurated this program at Natore Technical School and College premises on Saturday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Roshan Ali, Executive Officer of Natore Municipality Md. Rabiul Haque, former Principal Abdur Razzak spoke at this time.

In the opening ceremony, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Natore and Administrator of Natore Municipality, Md. Machudur Rahman, said that in order to make Natore a clean city, apart from the uninterrupted role of the municipality, the citizens of the municipality must play a participatory role. Through this week-long campaign, public awareness will be created, dengue fever will be reduced through cleanliness.

In this campaign, municipal officials and cleaning workers are conducting cleaning activities including mosquito killing in nine ward areas of Natore Municipality. Scout and Rover members from various educational institutions are providing support in this activity.
