Kalapara (Patuakhali) Correspondent

Tourist police rescued a child named Emon Hasan Imon (13) in Kuakata. Eamon went missing from Bagerhat last Friday afternoon.

The rescued Emon is inhabitant of Lashkarpur village, Fakithat Thana under Bagerhat district. He is son of Md. Iqbal Hussain.

According to the police, last night the driver of the Seven Star bus called and said there was a boy in the car, he could not give the address. Police later took the child into custody. But not being able to tell his address, it took some speed to find his family. At one point, knowing the name of Eamon's school, the police found his father through the school authority.

Emon's father Iqbal Hossain said, Emon was playing at home on Friday afternoon. Suddenly not finding him. Then I contacted relative's and miked the whole area. But I can't find him anywhere. At one point I got to know on the police phone that Eamon is in Kuakata. Later I came to pick him up. Many thanks to the tourist police. They took a lot of trouble with my son, I owe them.

Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, Additional Superintendent of Tourist Police, Kuakata Region, said, the bus driver told us when the boy got into the vehicle, we cannot say. But when Kuakata came and asked him the address, he could not say anything. After that our team supervises him comprehensively.

As the boy could not tell his father's name or mobile number, we had to pick up some speed. But we have now been able to convey to the relatives.
