The importance and virtues of the first Friday of Ramadan, the season of worship

Dr. Muhammad Mahtab Hossain Mazed

The holy month of Ramadan is the month of self-purification. The holy month of Ramadan has begun. Today is Friday 01 Ramadan. The first Jumma Mubarak of Ramadan 1444 Hijri. Five days of Ramadan have already passed between us. Ramadan Mubarak is blessed with the eternal message of Almighty Allah's infinite mercy, forgiveness and salvation.

The month of Ramadan is the season of worship and good deeds for the sake of immense reward. Among them, the Jumma days of Ramadan are more special and glorious. It has already been said that Friday is the day of Hajj for the poor, a holy and pious day. Today, more than any other day of Ramadan, Muslims are full of religious fervor and emotion to offer Friday prayers in all mosques. Today, on the 3rd day of the holy month of Ramadan, after the Friday prayer, a special prayer will be offered in the court of the Great Rabbul Alamin for the welfare of the country and the nation and the peace of the Muslim Ummah.

In order to explain the virtues and importance of Ramadan, Almighty Allah announced in the Holy Qur'an Surah Baqarah verse 85, "Ramadan is the month in which I revealed the Qur'an".

This month is called the month of Barakat-Rahmat-Maghferat. This month includes the blessed night of Shaba Qadr, which is another important matter for the Ummah of Mohammadi and which no other Prophet's Ummah has been blessed with. Allah himself declared about the virtues of Shaba al-Qadr as 'Lailatul Qadri Khairumm Meen Alfi Shahreen' i.e. one night of Shaba al-Qadr is better than a thousand months.

The important virtue of Ramadan is that it is obligatory to fast all the months. In each fast, Almighty Allah forgives many people and frees them from hell and enrolls them in paradise. Therefore, this month is called the month of Barakat-Rahmat-Maghferat.

In this month the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained. And these actions take place every night of Ramadan and continue until the end of Ramadan. This hadith proves that Paradise and Hell are two things created by Allah whose doors are literally opened or closed.

A person who reaches the second stage is as if he sacrificed a cow. A person who reaches the third stage, as if he sacrificed a dumba with a horn.

He who reaches the fourth stage is as if he has sacrificed a chicken. He who has reached the fifth stage is as if he has sacrificed an egg. Later, when the imam goes out to deliver the sermon, the angels appear to listen to the zikrThe significance of Friday in Islamic law is limitless. The day is named Juma because the body parts of Hazrat Adam (A.S.) were joined or deposited on this day.

Allah Ta'ala has enriched the day of Jumu'ah with unlimited blessings. It's the best day of the week. According to Hadith Sharif, this blessed day was specially bestowed by Allah Ta'ala to the Ummah of Muhammad (PBUH). The Prophet (PBUH) said that the best and most blessed day is Friday. On this holy day Hazrat Adam (A.S.) was created and on this day he was admitted to Paradise.
