
Ten villages vow to build drug-free society in Araihazar

People from ten villages in Araihazar, Narayanganj, have come together to build a drug-free society. An anti-drug awareness meeting was held at the Daryabad intersection of Haizadi Union on Friday. The meeting was presided over by prominent social worker Mohsin Molla of Daryabad.
Daryabad businessman Selim Molla, youth society and elders of the area were present at the meeting. The meeting was organized by conscious young people of Daryabad, Sabuj and Dulal.
In addition, representatives and members of ten villages Udayadi, Barani, Atadi, Sarabadi, Rainadi, Daryabad, Baraikandi, Paramanohardi, Dhandi and Munshipur—were present.
The speakers highlighted the horrors of drugs in their speeches and said, “Drugs destroy not only the individual but the entire society.” They urged everyone to work together to build a drug-free society.
At the end of the meeting, the youth community pledged to carry out continuous awareness campaigns.
