With the slogan "Say no to interest, invest on halal roads", the "Mirzaganj Upazila Teachers' Employees Welfare Council's new committee's installation , discussion meeting, Iftar and Doa Mahfil programs were held on n Wednesday, in the hall of Subidkhali Govt Rahman Ishaq Pilot Secondary School in Mirzaganj Upazila, Patuakhali

Mirzaganj Teachers' Employees Welfare Council was inaugurated with 12 teachers from various educational institutions in Mirzaganj Upazila.

The newly formed committee was elected as the president by Md. Nizam Uddin Senior Teacher, (Subidkhali Government Rahman Ishaq Pilot Secondary School) General Secretary, A, Z, M Shafiqul Islam Head Teacher, (Andua K, M Government Primary School) Vice President Mohammad Jahangir Alam Senior Teacher, (Kathalatoli Secondary School) Joint Secretary, Maulana Abdul Malek, Senior Teacher, (Subidkhali Government Rahman Ishaq Pilot Secondary School) Treasurer, Md. Atiqul Islam Assistant Teacher, (West Kalikapur Hossainia Dakhil Madrasa) and other members, also present were Academic Supervisor of Mirzaganj Education Office Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Former Secretary of Mirzaganj Upazila Jamaat Mohammad Abu Taleb Khan, Kamal Munshi and teachers of various educational institutions and invited guests.

At the discussion meeting of the newly formed Mirzaganj Upazila Teachers and Employees Welfare Council, Maulana Abdul Malek, Joint General Secretary of the committee, recited from the Holy Quran.

Newly elected president Mohammad Nizam Uddin said, this initiative is so that we teachers can come forward for each other's welfare, he wished the welfare of all the members present at the Iftar Mahfil and Doa program today.

Academic supervisor of Mirzaganj Education Office Md. Mostafizur Rahman said, I wish the newly formed organization success, former secretary of Mirzaganj Upazila Jamaat Islam Md. Abutaleb Khan said, I hope that the organization will move forward with unity, during the Iftar and Doa program, a prayer program was held wishing the happiness, peace, and prosperity of the country and the people, including all the teachers. The program was moderated by Maulana Abdul Malek, Joint General Secretary of the newly formed committee.
