Sumi at two int’l music conferences

Musician Sharmin Sultana Sumi of Chirkutt band has participated in the world’s largest music conference, WOMEX (Worldwide Music Expo) for the second time.
The conference, held in different countries worldwide in October every year, was held in Manchester, UK this year. More than 2,500 music professionals, including 260 musicians from 90 countries, participated in this three-day international conference held from 24 to 26 October.
Sumi participated in the festival as a panelist this year. The artiste presented her speech as an expert discussant at the conference on 25 October.
Besides WOMEX, Sumi will also participate in an international music conference at the University of Agder in Kristiansand, Norway. This conference will be held from 4 to 8 November. Before going to Norway, this talented artiste will join in a special session with students at the UK Management College in Manchester, UK, as a guest.
